2017 is off to an exciting start with news that Kim Starr Wise Floral Events will be featured in Southern Bride magazine’s January issue!

Last year, we were approached by New Orleans wedding planner Elyse Jennings to collaborate on a secret garden themed styled photo shoot at the Beauregard-Keyes House & Garden Museum, and we knew that we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with her and showcase our work!

This historic home is nestled in the French Quarter and surrounded by lush green gardens with a pristine courtyard that is a floral designer’s dream canvas.

Secret garden styled wedding shoot

At the center of the brick paved courtyard, the fountain is adorned with a cascading floral and foliage garland complete with blush and ivory spray roses, and crimson garden roses.

The iron archways topped with wild smilax vines and perfectly placed white, peach and blush roses create a picturesque background that completes the vision of this love affair between a bride and groom (by the way- they’re a real couple)!  They married in New Orleans this past February!

Even fresh flower bouquets made of ranunculus, David Austin Juliet garden roses, spray roses, hellebores, and agonis were tucked in the linen chair ties. Not a single detail was overlooked when creating the romantic setting for this shoot!

Atop of a golden antique barcart sits a three-tiered marbled pink wedding cake decorated with fresh garden roses.
