TheNotWedding is an alternative bridal show where hand-selected vendors put on a faux wedding for guests and brides-to-be. For TheNotWedding’s first New Orleans event, held at The Chicory, Kim Starr Wise Floral Events was selected to provide floral arrangements for several tables as well as the bouquets and boutonnieres at the “wedding.”
The wedding flowers, bouquets, and boutonnieres included peonies, 6-7 varieties of garden roses, hydrangea, regular roses, anthurium, and wild smilax. A recap of this fantastic New Orleans wedding event can be found at Ruffled.
The following day, a “Pink and Red Farewell Brunch” was held in the lush garden of the Beauregard-Keyes House. This brunch provided inspiration for popular morning-after-the-wedding events. Kim Starr Wise created table arrangements for the event using peonies, climbing roses, and hydrangea. The Every Last Detail has photos from this gorgeous event.
