They say New Orleans is the northern most Caribbean city and the tropical vibes from Jared and Lake’s big day without a doubt prove this saying true!
Their ceremony and reception took place at Race + Religious, a historic venue that features multiple restored cottages complete with carefully curated antique decor plus a fountain-flanked pool, two brick courtyards, and lush palms lit by the flicker of gas lamps.
See how the Kim Star Wise Floral Events team used the eclectic setting at Race + Religious to create this romantic tropical paradise for our grooms.
Jared and Lake exchanged their vows under this custom designed altar decorated with tropical palm fans, flowering acacia, spray roses, poppies, viburnum, roses, magnolia foliage, wild smilax vines, blooming forsythia and orange dubium.
Next to the guestbook sits a stunning flower arrangement of forsythia, orange dubium, tulips, hydrangea, magnolia, gerbera daisies, Juliet garden roses, eremurus, montbretia, olive foliage, ivory roses, jasmine vines and curly willow.
Fresh floral centerpieces of camellia, hydrangea, olive branches, freesia, helleborus, flowering acacia, eremurus, orange dubium, spray roses, poppies, forsythia, gerbera daisies, jasmine vines and Juliet garden roses were placed at every reception table.
Even the four tiered cake was embellished with a simple bundle of flowering acacia and orange dubium blooms.
Looking as handsome as ever and blissfully in love on their wedding day, Jared and Lake wore classic black tuxedos adorned with anemone boutonnieres; one adorned with forsythia and the other adorned with fresh jasmine.
