Many thanks to New Orleans Bride Magazine for putting on their Spring Bridal Showcase this past week at the Hyatt Regency’s Elite Hall.
We had a grand time, sipping sparkly and meeting future brides-to-be. We chatted about color combinations, event locations, types of wedding flowers, and encouraged them to snap pics holding some of our gorgeous and fresh scented bridal bouquets. There was even plenty of wedding cake to taste!
We showed off bouquets of ranunculus, ruffled peony, phalaenopsis (moth orchid), sarracenia (cobra lily), tulip, calla, hydrangea, coxcomb, scabiosa, sunflower, and begonia leaf, just to name a few, as well as boutonnieres for the groom, floral centerpieces, votives, mercury glass, terrariums, and intriguing reception decor ideas.
Our display table: Succulents, mosses, ceramic birds, terrariums, and mercury glass add texture and subtle glamour to wedding receptions.
For the men, we created unique boutonnieres that utilize natural cotton, burlap, baby pineapple, feathers, cymbidium orchid.
Kim chats with future brides at New Orleans Bride Magazine’s bridal show. Gorgeous bridal bouquets are ‘tried on for size.’ Tulips, ruffled peonies, hydrangea, ranunculus, hyacinth and white phalaenopsis (moth orchid) are all beautiful components. And the scent of hyacinth is knockout!
Other pieces on the table add the signature Kim Starr Wise look to weddings: terrariums, votives tucked into a rustic pharmacy cabinet drawer, gold candelabra, sequined art-deco print table runner, burlap wrapped sunflower heads, mercury glass.
